Can a guest of the Contemporary Resort have day visitors? Also are they allowed to swim in the pools? Also would I be able to swim after 11am on the day of my check-out?

    Hi Stephanie!

I see many great questions from you and appreciate you asking them one at a time so we can better write an answer back. I will attempt to get to as many as I can and others will follow me with the rest.

The Contemporary Resort is an icon in Walt Disney World. Its unique architecture and location make it one of the best on property. Guests are always welcome to your resort but please make them aware that they will need to show identification at the guard station and if parking is closed they might have to park with the valet services.

Technically, only guests of the resort are allowed to enjoy the resort pools. Outside guests are not allowed but you can always check at the pool to see if they will make the exception especially if it is only one or two persons and if it is not crowded. I know this has been made in the past for guests who have parents visiting but if you have another entire family coming this might not be accepted. You can imagine how crowded the facilities would be if everyone brought a large group to join them for the day.

On the day of your check-out you are free to enjoy all of the resort facilities until your departure. You of course will not have the room to change in so you will need to use the public restrooms and changing rooms. If you have a late flight or departure you certainly can enjoy your final swim in the great pools.
