I see that Be Our Guest is going to be changing what they are serving this summer, including a new personal dessert platter. Are they no longer going to offer Grey Stuff? I have heard you must have that, and I am going in December.

    Hi Trapper,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. My heart was so happy to read that you have a trip planned in December, because the decorations and holiday magic in the Walt Disney World Resort are so incredible; you are going to have a fabulous time!

Trapper, the recent news of the menu change at Be Our Guest Restaurant had the Disney fan community buzzing! I asked the dishes for some insider information about the “personal dessert platter” offered on new prix fixe dinner menu, but I think they lost their voices from all that singing and hospitality. My guess is that the infamous Grey Stuff will be included, but we’ll have to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for updates. Also, don’t forget that the lunch menu will remain a la carte, so you may still see the Grey Stuff offered there. It is such a perfect complement to the exquisitely-themed experience at Be Our Guest Restaurant, I have a hard time believing it’s going anywhere. As Cogsworth might say, time will tell.

Because Belle would want you to be as informed as possible before setting out on your adventure, I’m also going to encourage you to visit Gaston’s Tavern while you’re in Magic Kingdom Park. Try LeFou’s brew, which is a delicious frozen apple juice treat, or the giant cinnamon roll (ask for extra frosting). While you’re there, be sure to get a picture in front of the Gaston fountain, and you may even find “everyone’s favorite guy” himself meeting Guests nearby. He is one of the most hilarious characters to meet in the parks!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
