Be Our Guest is changing to prix fixe menu before we arrive. If we are able to get dinner time reservations, does everyone at the table need to order that menu? My daughter doesn’t eat much and I feel all the food would be a waste. Could she share mine?

    Hi Jamie,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Be Our Guest Restaurant is extremely popular for good reasons: the food is delicious, and the theming is truly wonderful. Be sure to walk around all the rooms in the restaurant, and take time to look up, down, and all around, because there are magical touches everywhere.

As Lumiere sings, “it’s fine dining we suggest,” and the culinary team at Walt Disney World have embraced the spirit of the beloved song for which the restaurant is named. Beginning July 27, 2018, Guests will enjoy a “culinary cabaret” as they enjoy a three-course prix fixe fine dining menu. They have yet to release details about the kids’ menu or dessert offerings, so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more magical details.

As of right now, we don’t have official answers to your questions, but I’m sure more information will be released as we get closer to July. It’s unclear whether all members of the party will have to pay the prix fixe or if there will be some flexibility for children, so please watch the Disney Parks Blog for more information. If it turns out she is required to order her own entree, be sure to ask your server for assistance if she doesn't see anything on the menu that appeals to her; in my experience, Cast Members are wonderful about helping kids find something to enjoy.

Here’s hoping you can “unfold your menu” and see all the options soon. While you’re in Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to head over to Gaston’s Tavern for delicious cinnamon rolls, a really fun character experience, and even more wonderful Beauty and the Beast details.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
