Hi Ralph,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am celebrating with you - congratulations on securing that early morning Be Our Guest dining reservation!
While we certainly rely on the
Walt Disney World® Bus Service during our trips, we generally take alternate transportation when trying to get to early morning dining reservations. Bus service officially starts about 45 minutes prior to park opening. If you check the
park hours for the exact dates of your visit, you should be able to determine the approximate time bus service will start.
From Old Key West Resort, I suggest that you use the Minnie Van™ service. When you check-in to your resort, speak with a cast member about this new service and they can provide additional on-site details. I just called 407-828-3500 and spoke with an operator with the service. He indicated that they drop off at Magic Kingdom. Although subject to change, their hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Ralph, on a prior visit, we had an 8:00 a.m. breakfast reservation at Be Our Guest and we took the Resort Monorail from our resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. When we arrived at the park we found a cast member who was checking in guests with pre-park opening dining reservations. As long as the park does not have Extra Magic Hours, you should be able to enter the park a few minutes before other guests. I suggest that you arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your reservation. We were able to enter by 7:45 a.m. They gave us a map with a specific route to walk to get to the restaurant. Along the way, we took some magical photos with the park looking empty!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
