Hi there, Sylvia, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I always enjoy helping my fellow Californians plan their next visit to the
Happiest Place on Earth, so let’s get started!
Yes, I’m happy to report that Guests are allowed to bring their own water bottles into the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Just keep in mind that per the
Disneyland Resort Rules, no glass containers are allowed inside the parks. I recommend checking out
this helpful list of refillable water stations compiled by my fellow Panelist,
Tony S.!
If you prefer not to carry a water bottle around all day, you can also ask for a complimentary cup of ice water at most
quick-service restaurants. Plus, you can find traditional drinking fountains throughout the parks. Use the handy
Disneyland app to locate your nearest one by tapping the search icon and searching for “drinking fountains.” Then, select "Find on Map" to locate your nearest fountain.
Also, if plan on packing your own meals, I recommend using the comfortable, shaded
Picnic Area located near the entrance of
Disneyland Park, on The Esplanade. There are even convenient
Locker Rentals adjacent to the Picnic Area, in case you’d prefer to store your cooler or backpack after you’re done eating.
I hope this information helps, Sylvia. Please stop by with any additional planning questions… I’m all EARs!
Kristin
