Hi Jon,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question. August is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, I am sure you will make some magical memories with your daughter!
As of right now, the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is temporarily closed and will reopen at a later date. While we don't have an exact date for re-opening just yet, I do suggest checking the
Disney Parks Blog as well as the official
Walt Disney World Resort website for any announcements regarding the phased reopening and any new experiences being offered to guests. The past few weeks have had lots of exciting announcements with "
Happily Ever After" returning as well as some of our favorite Dining Experiences, hopefully the Fairy Godmother's in Training won't be too far behind.
If by chance the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique isn't open before you head to Walt Disney World Resort, there are still plenty of ways to make your daughter feel like a princess! When my daughter was younger, her "Fairy Godmother" would send her a letter inviting her to become an honorary princess for the day while visiting Magic Kingdom Park. We would take the time to style her hair in a beautiful up do, and we would purchase a princess dress as we arrived at the Theme Park for her to officially start her day. We would finish the day with dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table ending the day mingling with Disney Royalty.
I wish I had better news, Jon. Sending extra pixie dust in hope your daughter will be able to experience the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to come back and visit us here at
planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
