We have 2 groups traveling together and we are planning to do LL’s together. We have a child who is old enough for a ticket, but won’t meet the height requirements on some rides. How do we navigate LL to get the most out of our trip?

    Hello Angel,

Your summer vacation to Walt Disney World is coming and I hope you are ready to experience the magic with this large group. Thank you for letting us at planDisney give you a hand on figuring out your vacation plan. Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP) is a great way to skip the lines on some attractions during your park visit. Having all of your My Disney Experience accounts linked will be the first step on how you can maximize making plans together. Once you are linked you can set "Your Party" before the day comes to purchase your LLMP. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel can make the purchase 7 days ahead of their visit, and 3 days for all other guests. In regards to the little one traveling that has not reached the height requirements of all the rides, there are a couple of attractions they may not be able to enjoy. If that is the case I always recommend removing them and enjoying some one-on-one time together. When we had one or two littles we would split for a short time but stay in the same area. The big kid rides always have something nearby for little ones to enjoy. For example if they haven't yet met the TRON: Lightcycle Run height requirements, you can head to Buzz Lightyear: Space Ranger Spin which is also in Tomorrowland. Then you can meetup afterwards and continue on to your next adventure.

If you have a really large group you might want to have at least one person purchase Memory Maker so you don't have all selfies, or missing one person from every shot. With Memory Maker you can stop wherever you see PhotoPass Cast Members with your whole group, part of your group, or just you by yourself. These will be available for download right to from your phone. This will also save your ride photos and if you split up make sure the others get a PhotoPass card so you can download all those magical memories.

I hope this gives you an idea of how best to navigate your visit. Come back anytime for planning tips and tricks.

    Have a magical day,

    Jeremy A.
