Hi, Erica!
I’m glad to hear that you’re planning a visit to
Walt Disney World! I am a huge fan of introducing little ones to the magic of Disney early on, even if it requires a bit more planning and flexibility. We've been taking my son (who’s now two and a half years old) to the theme parks since he was just a few months old, so I have a lot of experience with Disney diaper changes!
In my experience, the diaper changing stations in the bathrooms are large enough to accommodate toddlers, although they may have to bend their legs a bit depending on how tall they are. I've purchased inexpensive disposable liners at stores such as Target, but more often I use a small cushioned pad I carry in the diaper bag. It provides more cushion and comfort for my son, and I like that I can wash and reuse it.
That said, whenever possible I prefer to utilize the
Baby Care Centers while visiting the parks. There is one located within each of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World. In addition to providing a convenient and private place to feed, nurse and change children, they are fully staffed and offer a variety of amenities that make life much easier for parents with small kids. There are full-size changing tables with complimentary disposable paper liners, a private nursing room with rocking chairs, a feeding area with high chairs, a kitchen and sitting room, and a shop with baby food, formula, bottles, diapers, wipes, over-the-counter medicines and other essentials for purchase.
I hope this information is helpful, Erica. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
