Hey Megan,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with this great question about your upcoming Walt Disney World visit. I have to tell you,
Memory Maker is probably one of my most favorite add-ons when I visit Disney World. It's a service that allows you to download unlimited
PhotoPass photos during your visit. My family loves to take tons of photos during our visits. The PhotoPass service allows us to take photos together as a family throughout the parks without asking other guests to take them for us. It’s such a great way to ensure that everyone gets to be in the picture and that the memories you capture tell the full story of your magical visit.
The Memory Maker add-on is associated in
My Disney Experience only with the purchaser of the package, so while other linked family members and friends in your party will be able to see watermarked versions of all the photos everyone takes, they will not be able to download them directly from the app without purchasing Memory Maker themselves. However, the person who purchases the Memory Maker package can download all the photos from everyone linked to your party and share them easily via their mobile phone. Just be sure to
link all family and friends so they can either tap their
MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile digital pass, admission card, Memory Maker card, annual pass or Disney PhotoPass card with their photographers and get their photos added to the account of the purchaser. My fellow panelist Emille has great instructions for how to do that
here just in case you need them. Also, be sure to have the purchaser download the photos promptly! You’ll have 45 days to download them before they expire.
I hope this information is helpful, Megan. If you have additional planning questions be sure to visit us here at planDisney again real soon. TTFN… ta-ta for now!
