If your group uses FP for a ride that has height requirements and everyone that meets the requirements uses a FP to ride it, what happens to the FP for the ones that do not meet the height requirements? Has anyone faced this before? Thank you!

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel.

Typically, the attractions with height requirements tend to be the most popular attractions and have what's called a Rider Switch pass. What we did when a little guy in our party couldn't ride was to ask the Cast Member for the pass (allowing an adult to stay behind and babysit, and then return later without the wait) while the rest of the party enjoyed the roller coaster. Because the Rider Switch pass only allowed the "babysitter" to return with one guest to ride, we used the little guy's MagicBand to let a third person in our party ride again. This allowed the two older siblings to get a second turn with the "babysitter" without an additional FP+ on their bands.

You don't have to use the child's FP+, though. And you don't have to use Rider Switch. You can let it expire or change it to another attraction, keeping in mind that you'll probably want to change the "babysitters" FP+, too.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
