Sherry from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hello, a group of 7 of us, men and women, have been invited to club 33 for dinner as guests. We are unsure what is appropriate to wear for dinner service, especially as we will be spending the day in the park. Thank you

    Greetings Sherry!

A very warm welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for bringing your question our way!

I feel uniquely qualified to answer your question as I had the opportunity to dine at Club 33 twice this year! If you have not dined at 33 Royal Street in New Orleans Square before, you are in for quite the treat! As one of the final projects Walt Disney worked on before he passed away, the club is rich in history! Ask the host that seats you for some fun facts on your way to the table. You’ll also have an amazing and unique vantage point of Disneyland Park! So, make sure to look out the windows and step out onto the balcony once your meal is complete!

Both of my dining experiences took place during lunch when the dress code is more relaxed. Business casual attire is required for Guests dining after 4:30 p.m. Acceptable attire includes pants, collared shirts, blouses, knit sweaters or dresses. Avoid workout wear such as shorts and hooded sweatshirts. Fashionable jeans are acceptable as long as they are not overly worn or torn. Shoes must be well maintained and closed-toed with the exception of dressy open-toed sandals (not beach or workout footwear.) These dress guidelines apply to children as well. Especially those 10 years and older. If you have additional questions, I recommend checking with your sponsor for guidance. After all, you are being invited as their personal Guest.

As the dress code is not typical park attire, you might want to consider a Locker Rental for your change of clothes. Or you may keep your dinner attire in a bag or backpack. Just be sure your bag does not exceed 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high and does not have wheels. There is no need to worry about what to do with your bags while you dine. Your host will offer to check any coats and bags that you do not wish to take to your table.

Like other table service restaurants, be sure to notify your server of any dietary restrictions or food allergies. They will go over the menu and make suitable suggestions. If nothing on the menu suits your needs, you may even be offered a specially prepared item. For dessert, I enjoyed the most delicious off-menu chocolate cake topped with raspberries and chocolate mousse! Lastly, I suggest ending your meal with a signature latte. I like to order mine decaffeinated with oat milk. It’s the best latte I’ve ever had! And, the latte art is lovely.

I hope you have a magical experience at Club 33! Please say hello to Alfred for me!

    Ta ta for now!
