We will have a group of 7 on our trip. I was wondering if SciFi Drive-In can accommodate that many in their cars or would we have to sit at the picnic tables? Similar question for 50's Prime Time Café - what tables are available for 7?

Hi Suzie! It looks like you have two amazing restaurant reservations during your day at Hollywood Studios.

Part of the fun at SciFi Dine-In is the chance to really feel like you are at a drive-in theater by sitting in cars to eat. I never recommend this restaurant for families who wish to visit with each other during the meal as that is pretty hard to do. The cars can comfortably sit two in each seat with most cars having three rows. Since you are a party of 7 you would likely fill one complete car and a row in another car nearby. If there are small children you might be able to put three in one row. Just because of your number you would not be relegated to a back picnic table unless you requested that.

Primetime Cafe also has tables for at least six but your group will be together in the same area if you are at two tables. Again depending on the age of the children, space can be made to bring you all at one table. We used to travel with 16 people growing up at our Disney vacations and we loved splitting up at meals and catching up with family members. We never found it a negative to have more then one table for our group. We found that often if we were at one table we never could talk to the ones at the other end anyway! If you are split into two tables at Primetime you will have the same waiter who will make it fun for all of you.

Enjoy your upcoming reservations.......love that pot roast at Primetime and now thinking about it since writing this message to you!
