We have a group of 7 traveling during Easter. My husband (diabetic) and father (cancer & degenerative hip). Are there any accommodations that are offered for their disabilities? I have seen medical pass references, but not sure what that entails. Th

Hi Dana! You may obtain two Guest Assistance Cards (GACs) from Guest Relations at any Disney theme park. A GAC is for guests with a wide variety of medical and other special considerations. Each GAC will accommodate the bearer, and up to five other members of the travel party, by allowing access to alternate attraction entrances where available. This will facilitate waiting in non-crowded areas and easier access to rides and attractions. Once you arrive at Guest Relations, please explain the medical conditions in your travel party. The Guest Relations Cast Member will add a stamp to each GAC alerting attraction Cast Members as to the type of special assistance and accommodations your husband and father may require. Please be advised that in order to use each GAC, your husband and father must be present when entering each attraction. You won't be asked to provide a doctor's letter to obtain the GACs. However, it is always wise to bring medical documentation to have handy in case of any unforseen emergencies. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. This is the year of making memories at Walt Disney World. May your family enjoy making many lasting memories together!
