I have a group of 13 going in the summer which consists of 3 family units. How do we link our my disney experience accounts so we can see plans and link photo pass but still make our individual family genie + reservations

    Hi Linda, welcome to planDisney!

Bees'll buzz, kids'll blow dandelion fuzz, and you'll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in summer. High-quality entertainment offerings like For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Finding Nemo: The Big Blue...and Beyond! at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park offer your large party a chance to beat the heat and smile together.

When planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, all members of your party need to connect as Family & Friends in My Disney Experience. Once someone appears on your Family & Friends List, you can view and make plans for each other. These plans include dining reservations, theme park reservations, and Lightning Lane reservations. You can also view each other's Disney PhotoPass images as individual account settings allow.

Follow these steps to add a member of your party with their own My Disney Experience account to your Family & Friends List:

    1. Click "Add a Guest" at the bottom of your Family & Friends List.
    2. Select "I'll enter their name and age."
    3. Once you enter an age of "18+," an additional option appears and you should select "Invite this Guest to connect."
    4. Enter the email address connected to that person's My Disney Experience account and click "Done."
    5. Once that person accepts the email invitation to connect, they will appear on your Family & Friends List.

For individuals, including children, that have My Disney Experience account profiles managed by an adult's account, consider the following:

    1. If the managing adult appears on your Family & Friends List and their Family & Friends List is shared ("My list is shared" appears by their name on their Family & Friends List), the person with the profile's name should appear for selection once you click "Add a Guest" and "Find through my connected Guests" is selected.

Here are some specifics to note about sharing Disney PhotoPass media:

    1. Click "Update" next to a member of your Family & Friends List to ensure "All My Plans" and "My Disney PhotoPass Photos" are selected for sharing, as desired. Repeat for all members of your party.
    2. If a member of your party has purchased Memory Maker, which includes unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass media linked to up to 25 Family & Friends, only the person to whom the Memory Maker entitlement is linked will be able to view unwatermarked photos online or in their My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> Photos).
When purchasing Disney Genie+ service or making Lightning Lane reservations, part of the purchase/reservation process asks you to confirm your party. All eligible members of your Family & Friends List will appear for selection but you will have no trouble booking separately for each family unit.

We covered a lot of magical ground today, Linda. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly with any follow-up questions. I share because I care!
