Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is just a few days away. That’s so exciting! Your question speaks to me on a personal level, Carolina. When I joined the 2026 planDisney Panel, my classmates and I made up a group of 18 as well! It can be challenging to coordinate Lightning Lanes for larger groups, but it is possible! Let’s get into it!
To answer your question, Carolina, you can book Lightning Lanes for a group as large as 20 Guests. There is no indication on the
Walt Disney World Resort website or the page that specifically addresses
Lightning Lane Passes that availability is in any way limited when booking Lightning Lanes for larger parties. Speaking from my own experience, I’ve found success when booking for smaller parties, or even just for myself when I’m traveling solo. And I’ve also found success booking for much larger parties.
Long story short, I’m confident that you’ll have success booking Lightning Lanes for your party of 18. Please note that if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel or other select hotels, you’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane Passes up to 7 days in advance of your stay. If you are staying elsewhere, you can purchase passes up to 3 days in advance of your park visit. With Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you’ll be able to select return times for up to three attractions ahead of your visit. For Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT, the attractions are tiered into groups. The most in-demand attractions are in one group, and the other attractions are in a second group.
When your booking window opens, you’ll be able to book one attraction from the first group, and two attractions from the second group. As of this writing, there are no groups for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. All attractions are on equal footing. I highly recommend taking advantage of this advance booking window if it applies to you and your party!
Your visit lines up perfectly with the beginning of the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, Carolina. It’s my favorite festival of the year. There are plenty of delicious eats, sips, and fun entertainment options to take in during the festival.
