Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering feature in your
My Disney Experience app! I love using this handy little mouseketool to skip the food lines and fill my family's bellies faster. It's like having a
Lightning Lane pass, but
for food!
In my experience, mobile ordering is fast, convenient, and easy to use. However, the My Disney Experience app will only give you access to the Disney Dining Plan credits
for the people on your own reservation. Unfortunately, this means you won't be able to mobile order for your friends using their own dining plan credits.
I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, Cadelyn, but I do have a few ideas that might help! While you can't use your friends' credits to order for them, you can use your My Disney Experience app to place an order for them, using the credit card you have on file. Alternatively, you can also order on their behalf using
their phone and My Disney Experience app. This will allow you to apply their dining credits to their order,
and to show them how it's done! Let them watch you once, and I have a hunch they'll be mobile ordering like the pros in no time!
Bonus Tip: Disney World's mobile order feature is always super helpful in the parks, but don't forget that you can mobile order from quick-service locations at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, too! After a busy day in the parks, my family is always "starving" on the way back to the resort. We like to mobile order our lunch, or even just a few snacks, while we're still en route. This way, our food is ready and waiting when we arrive.
