Can my group split up and go to separate parks? And can we still use genie plus if we do split up?

    Haleigh,

Your group can absolutely split up and head to separate parks, while still taking full advantage of the Disney Genie+ service. Now that my girls are teenagers, we often split up, with one kid heading off with Mom, the other with me, and then we let the magic ensue!

Do remember that you still will need all members of your group to have Theme Park Reservations for wherever they are headed. You can pick different parks for different guests via your My Disney Experience account.

    BONUS TIP #1
Ensure that everyone in your group has the My Disney Experience App installed on a smartphone. They will need that to make their next Genie+ attraction selection, and they will be able to do so much more along the way, including viewing their itinerary for the entire trip.

    BONUS TIP #2
When we have split-up days like you describe, we always reconnect over dinner. We pick a fun destination, and everyone has to share their favorite moment of the day, and their most unexpected experience of the day. I am glad to offer some dining suggestions for places that have helped us recap the magic!

Write me back if you need any other suggestions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
