Our group of six is arriving the evening of April 8.We’re booked to use the Magical Express. We’d like to max our first evening by heading directly to Disney Springs. How long does it take to get from airport to POFQ? Or should we use a Minnie Van?

    Hi Heather!

Disney Springs is the perfect place to start your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! You will love the incredible dining, shopping and entertainment offered in this beautiful area and I've found there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Disney's Magical Express is one of my favorite benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel because it's so nice being able to travel to Walt Disney World Resort on a comfortable bus without having to worry about rental cars, navigation or parking. Plus, it's a complimentary service for Disney Resort hotel Guests! When traveling from Orlando International to your Disney Resort hotel, I recommend that you allow three hours between your scheduled flight arrival time and the time when you will be at your Disney Resort hotel ready to start the first item on your vacation itinerary. This allows plenty of time to make your way through the airport, catch your bus, navigate through traffic and make stops at other Disney Resort hotels before you arrive at your vacation "home".

If you would like to get your vacation started more quickly, the Minnie Van Service is a great option to travel from Orlando International Airport to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter or throughout Walt Disney World Resort. I love using the Minnie Van Service for vacation travel because it's so nice to have private, direct transportation provided by Disney Cast Members when I want to get around Walt Disney World Resort as quickly as possible! If you are interested in using the Minnie Van Service for your airport transportation, be sure to call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 by 11:59 AM the night prior to arrival to arrange your magical transportation.

Heather, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning your trip so you can get all of the latest news and announcements about the magic you will be able to enjoy during your vacation. Also, let us know if we can help you again as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
