Hello, Terri! Welcome to planDisney! Visiting
Walt Disney World with a group, whether your extended family or with friends, is a blast! I am in the beginning stages of planning a group vacation myself, so this question has come at a perfect time!
To be eligible for a group rate at Walt Disney World, you are required to book 10 rooms or more. If this describes your group, you can start your vacation planning by calling the number listed under Reservations and Tickets for
Group Reservations. If you don’t fall into that category, then I would recommend checking out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page to see what current promotions are being offered that may best suit your visit.
Two promotions being offered at this time that may be of interest to you are:
• Save up to 35% on rooms at select Disney Resort Collection hotels.
• A FREE dining plan when booking a room and theme park ticket with Park Hopper option.
*These offers are subject to change and have specific criteria to be eligible
When it comes to choosing a resort to accommodate your group, you have plenty of great options. The
Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts have 1, 2-, and 3-bedroom villas that include a fully equipped kitchen, separate living and sleeping areas, and a washer and dryer in the room! My wife and I love this as it allows us to pack lightly and travel home with clean clothes, so we aren’t doing multiple loads of laundry immediately following our vacation. My personal favorite is
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa due to its walking path to the Magic Kingdom, but I am looking forward to my first stay at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa later this year with my planDisney friends! Another option to entertain would be the Family Suites at
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort which sleeps up to 6 adults!
I hope this points you in the right direction with your vacation planning, Terri. If you have any additional questions or would like me to elaborate on something more, please feel free to
ask me here!
Thanks,
Brent
