Hi there, Marissa!
Thanks for bringing us a new question! I often visit the Disneyland Resort with my extended family, so I know what it's like to organize a large group. I've found some great strategies over the years that I'd be happy to share!
There are currently two different types of group tickets offered at the Disneyland Resort.
Disney Imagination Campus provides group tickets and educational workshops for student and youth groups. To submit a
youth group ticket request you must have at least ten (10) or more guests between 3 and 22 years old. For details on Disney Imagination Campus, you can call (714) 520-7053. The second type of group ticket is purchased through
Disney Meetings and Events. You can
submit a request for more information through their website, or call (714) 520-7079 for more details.
When you're in the parks with a large group I think it's really helpful to have a few people assigned as mini group leaders, for no more than 8 people. Each group leader can help manage tickets linked in the
Disneyland Mobile App and be responsible for leading the way on
mobile food orders or Lightening Lane selection if you're using
Disney Genie+ Service.
I also recommend choosing a couple of things that you want to do together as a group to prioritize. Some good options would be a group photo at Mickey's House or in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and an attraction like Pirates of the Caribbean or Haunted Mansion that works well for big parties. Then give people time to split into smaller groups and enjoy the park!
Marissa, I know that trips with large parties can be a lot of work, especially for the organizer! But being in the parks with lots of people I love is one of my very favorite ways to spend a day, even when it's a little bit crazy.
Please let me know if I can help you with any other questions about large parties in the parks! Keep moving forward!
Amanda
