Oh boy! Oh boy! Planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth with 85 Mouseketeers sounds like an adventure of a lifetime!
Que, I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with this question so I can tell you about
Disney Meetings & Events. This team of Cast Members specializes in large groups, from major conferences to family reunions. They will work with you to find the
Disney Resort Collection hotels and packages that fit your group's needs, style and budget.
You can
submit a request form online to have a Cast Member contact you to begin planning. Don't worry about how formal the site looks with language like "submit an RFP," they are skilled at working with a full range of Guests from corporate planners to moms and dads.
You can speak with them about how they recommend using the
Lightning Lane passes. The
My Disney Experience app is set up to accommodate groups of up to 20 Guests. With a group of 85, I would recommend coordinating in smaller groups regardless of what the app allows. With large groups, it is a lot of herding to keep everyone together. And what people may not think about is that it's the restroom breaks that will consume so much of your time. No matter how many breaks and warnings of "please go now," there will always be someone who needs a pit stop.
I would recommend a few reunion opportunities, like dining reservations or meeting at the resort's
Movies Under the Stars. People move at different paces and want different experiences in their time at the theme parks. Smaller groups help everyone navigate more easily throughout the day, and reunion moments help bring everyone together. The Meetings & Events team will help and certainly has more experience than I do. Just offering my insights from a few large-group trips.
Que, I am so excited thinking about a room full of laughter and sharing of stories at the end of each day. There is no better place to bring so many people together than Walt Disney World. Hot dog!
Thinking of the Happiest Things!
