Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Amanda! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
Park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day. You'll often find me enjoying my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom Park in the morning, lounging by the pool in the afternoon and then ending the day with snacks and drinks at EPCOT. Visiting multiple Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day is a great way to cross off so many of those must-do's - especially with limited time at Walt Disney World.
Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets operate on an all-or-nothing system. To add the park hopper option on your tickets, you would actually need to upgrade the entire ticket package that you purchase. You are not able to purchase a 4-day ticket and upgrade only one of the days to include the park hopper option.
Amanda, I would consider upgrading your tickets to include the park hopper option anyway. This way you can visit each of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks but then have the flexibility to go back and experience some of your favorites again.
Park hopping looks a little bit different than it did before. Here's how park hopping is currently working:
- Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
- Guests wishing to park hop must have a park pass reservation for the first theme park they plan to visit each day
- On the day of, Guests must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other theme parks later in the day
- Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening
- To make park hopping a little bit more convenient for Guests, complimentary park-to-park transportation is currently being provided at this time
I hope this helps, Amanda. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help.
Have fun and happy hopping!
Jackie H.
