Ahoy Cecil!
Welcome onboard here at planDisney! Can I just say that I LOVE your idea to cruise with your entire family! What a festive sailing it will be with a large group. I can’t imagine a better place to have what will essentially be a family reunion than on a Disney voyage with Captain Mickey.
There isn’t a separate contact for group bookings for Disney Cruise Line, so you can either
contact a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist or a Travel Agent to make reservations for
multiple staterooms for a group totaling 42 Guests. Furthermore, you could then have all the staterooms for your party linked together via Disney Cruise Line (or your agent).
After your reservations are linked, two high priorities for a large group are
stateroom arrangements and
rotational dining. You may want to coordinate stateroom locations and select connecting staterooms so you can leave the door open between rooms to feel more connected. Using the
Deck Plans and choosing your ship in the upper left-hand corner, you can go ahead and scope out which staterooms are connected.
Finally, I highly recommend downloading the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. It’s an incredible resource onboard for finding showtimes, dinner menus, activities, character greetings, and deck parties. With a large group, it’s also a key tool in keeping your family connected throughout the day. Simply use the chat feature to communicate plans on activities you all might want to attend together and to keep tabs on all the kiddos who may be busy in the
Youth Clubs.
I cannot wait for you to set sail with your whole family on an adventure at sea, Cecil. Let us know if you have more questions, and we’d be more than happy to dole out planning tips and tricks.
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
