    We are a group of 10 people and we plan to arrive on December 31 at noon. We would like to go to Magic Kingdom for the new year eve's. Will it be possible to enter the park in the afternoon, or is it closed if there are a lot of people?

    Walt Disney World is certainly an exciting place to celebrate ringing in the New Year! There will be lots happening all across the property.

    The Magic Kingdom Theme Park is often the first park to close due to capacity on days like New Years Eve. Epcot is the other park that can generally be affected by the crowds.  The best you can do when you check into your resort is to have them look to see what the park status is at that time. Closings are coded with the first affecting outside Disney Resort guests. But if they do get to complete capacity then everyone will be denied entrance.

    I would certainly have a back up plan and just know that every park will be extremely crowded for this night.  Your resort concierges will be glad to assist you upon check-in. If you do not have dining reservations they will be pretty hard to get at this point. But every park will have quick service locations with a variety of food choices.

    Enjoy this great celebration with Disney. No matter where you will be it will be quite magical!
