    Our group has 8 people but not everyone wants to do everything at the same time. Can we book different things for the various members of the group?

    Hello there, Ethan!

    I recently had a multi-family and multi-generational Walt Disney World Resort vacation and it was key for our family to split off into groups to our favorite rides and attractions- so I totally understand what you're trying to do here. Making advanced dining reservations early on was a must-do for our party and meant that we could fill our bellies and spend quality time regrouping throughout the day. 

    Here are my quick tips for staying connected and making different Genie+ selections for the various members of your party: 
    1. Each member of your party will need their own My Disney Experience account. For the little ones, you can create a My Disney Experience profile by simply entering their name and age; however, the person who creates a child's profile will manage the profile and all the plans for that child. Make sure everyone in your party creates their own My Disney Experience account and starts to get comfortable with the app on their mobile device. 
    2. Once everyone has created their account, you'll need to add them to your "My Family & Friends List." The My Disney Experience mobile app makes this process very simple! Once you're in the app, press the three horizontal bars on the bottom right portion of the screen, scroll down and select "My Profile, and click the Family & Friends List at the top to see who you are linked with. You can add people by scanning their linking code on their app. I'd suggest doing this prior to your arrival, if possible. 
    3. I'm assuming your group is interested in purchasing Disney Genie+ service, which allows you to reserve Lightning Lane access to over 40 rides and attractions. Now that your Family & Friends Lis is organized, everyone can either purchase their own Disney Genie+ service or you can purchase all of the Disney Genie+ services for the group on the date that you are planning to visit using the My Disney Experience app. Once you all have Genie+, everyone will be able to start making their own or group selections for Lightning Lanes starting at 7:00 am. The app will automatically give you the option to select which members of your party will join you on rides and attractions. 
    Once your entire party is linked, you'll be able to pick and choose which members of your party will join you for advanced dining reservations, Enchanting Extras, and much more. Let the My Disney Experience app be your guide and give me a little whistle if you have any other questions.
