I have a group of 11 people going to Disney- in total I have 4 family’s going. We are trying figure to set up how to share in the app. I don’t want to manage everyone but I want tonno able to view everyone. How do I do it correctly?

    Hiya, Lenzie! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to Walt Disney World Resort with a big group of family and friends. Here's a little secret: magic multiplies when it's shared, and your trip is sure to be an extra special one! I've traveled to The Most Magical Place on Earth with a large crew before and one thing that worked best for us was to schedule time together with dining reservations and certain attractions, but also to make time for our own adventures. It really helped everyone have their own BEST. DAY. EVER!

Lenzie, it sounds like you'd like to connect with your whole party through your Family & Friends List! This is a great way to see and share plans, but you won't be responsible for managing everyone's accounts. And luckily, linking everyone's plans through this list is easy as bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! Let me just grab my magic wand...

First, you'll want to log into your account online. Hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, then click on My Family & Friends. Scroll down and click Add a Guest. Personally, I've always had the best experience choosing the "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation" option. It takes a couple of phone calls to my friends to ask them what their reservation number is, but it's always worth it! Once you've linked a few people to your Family & Friends List, you can link the rest of the travel party easier through the "Find through my connected Guests" option.

The other people in your travel party will want to make sure that you can view their information, too! Once they open their own Family & Friends List page, they'll be able to see their own name listed. Make sure that it indicates "My list is shared" next to their name, otherwise they'll want to change it by clicking the Update link!

I hope this option works for you, but if for some reason it doesn't, I blame it on my magic wand. I stretched it as far as I can reach, but sometimes we need a little extra pixie dust! When that's the case, I always find success when calling a Cast Member. They're a little like real-life fairy godparents! I'd recommend calling them first thing in the morning when phone lines open since their magic can be in high demand.

Before your trip, I'd encourage everyone in your travel party to download and explore the My Disney Experience app! This is a great way to see everything that this app has to offer, from checking out wait times for rides to being able to mobile order food. I love to know that my snacks are already ordered before I start to get a rumbly in my tumbly. You can even book Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane services right through the app during your trip!

Lenzie, I hope I was able to help you connect with your family and friends as you continue to plan for your most magical vacation! If you have any other questions, be sure to visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
