We are a group of 10 people going to Disney in Feb. I have read the comments about the walkie talkies but I was thinking more along the lines of disposable phones. Since I live in Canada I am not sure if that is feasible or not. Any suggestions.

    Hello Pamella!

Before we all had cell phones, we would take our walkie talkies to the parks. They used to work pretty well from what I remember and they only had about a 2 mile range. Now the new walkie talkies almost have a 20 mile range! That means that you could be in Magic Kingdom and someone else can be in Animal Kingdom and you can communicate all without having to worry about a cost of cellular use. Depending on the price between the two I always pick the one that saves me money. With the walkie talkie, you know that you will be able to take them anywhere you like on future trips. Personally the walkie talkies would be my choice.

Thank you so much for asking the Moms Panel! If you have additional questions, we are always here for you!
