Hello, we are a group of 10 people (ages 19-28). We wanted to go on a trip for about 4 days. We are celebrating a 21st birthday. We wanted help on planning this trip.

Welcome to planDisney, Alexandra! We're glad you're here! I am so excited that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for your big group. I have a large family, so I know how fun it can be to vacation with several people, and I am all too familiar with the challenges of planning for so many.

The first step is to choose where to stay. There are so many Disney Resort Hotels to choose from! While you can't go wrong, I'll recommend Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. Some of the rooms can accommodate up to five people (called a 5th sleeper), which could come in handy for your group. The main pool has a Spanish fortress theme and a great pool bar. One of the best perks is access to Disney's Skyliner, which is an attraction in its own right and takes you to both EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. This transportation is complimentary, in addition to the bus service to the other parks, Disney Springs, and more!

There’s no better place to celebrate a birthday than the Most Magical Place on Earth! Be sure to make advanced dining reservations. To secure a table for ten, you'll want to book early. I'd love to suggest an afternoon at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It's part tiki bar - part experience. They have great appetizers, fun drinks, and a few surprises. It truly is a lot of fun! Although they do not accept reservations, you can join the waitlist on the My Disney Experience App, as long as you're close by. You'll need to visit before 8 pm for your friends under the age of 21 to be permitted to enter. I'd go early, as the waitlist tends to fill up quickly.

I find the planning to be half the fun! Host a party for your group soon to help you make decisions about the trip and to build excitement. You could play music from Disney movies and provide Mickey-shaped snacks while you talk about what is on everyone's must-do lists.

Alexandra, you've got plenty of decisions to make and lots of planning to do! When questions arise, please bring them to us here at planDisney! We love experiencing the magic of the Disney Parks, and it brings us so much joy to help others do the same!
