I know that some of the options can be a bit confusing at first, especially when technology gets added to the mix. I encourage you to check out the most recent

The good news, Zach, is that once your crew is linked together as Family & Friends and sharing plans via your My Disney Experience accounts, everything, including purchasing and using the Disney Genie+ service, becomes very easy for a group. Check out my friend and fellow panelist Diana's
instructions for easily getting everyone linked up! I suggest getting this taken care of before your trip, but it's easy to do at any time. If you need any assistance, a Cast Member at the Theme Parks can always help out.
As long as everyone in your crew is linked, any of you will be able to
purchase the Disney Genie+ Service each day for anyone or everyone in your group. If everyone wants to pay separately, they will need to make the purchase on their own, but if you're treating everyone, you can purchase Genie+ for everyone in a single transaction using the My Disney Experience Mobile App.
Once everyone, or just some of you, has purchased Genie+ for the day, you can make Genie+
Lightning Lane selections for anyone in the group who has Genie+. If someone doesn't want to experience a certain attraction, simply don't include them! Zach, this makes planning so much easier when you're in the Theme Parks. In my crew, I'm always the one that keeps us on track, so it's my job to make Lightning Lane selections, dining reservations, and more, for everyone in my group. Again, if you run into any trouble, there are Cast Members at all Theme Parks that can help you get the magic back on track!
