Hi Lyndsay, thanks for bringing this great question to planDisney!
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) works a little differently with attractions that have
virtual queues. Because there are no standby queues available for
Tron Lightcycle / Run and
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind guests who are registered for DAS must either join the virtual queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane (my recommendation is to try for both!). If you are able to join a virtual queue, you will be assigned a boarding group with an approximate wait time. This will give you an idea of how long you have to enjoy other experiences in the park before it's your turn to enter the queue.
When your boarding group is called, you will receive a notification from your
My Disney Experience Mobile app. You will then have one hour to arrive at the attraction. Once you arrive, look for cast members under an umbrella near the Lightning Lane entrance. Let them know you are utilizing DAS and they will scan your MagicBand to convert your virtual queue access to an Individual Lightning Lane. It's a very quick process. Then, you will be able to enter the Lightning Lane as you would for other attractions with stand-by lines.
Lyndsay, you are arriving just in time for the first
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and
Disney Hollywood Nights will also be underway. I expect tickets to sell out quickly for these events so if you will be attending, you may want to purchase your tickets soon.
Have a magical vacation!
Diane
