I have 13 in my group and want to get the multipass option , the genie tip board will not allow me to pick 13 people, will this be a problem for me when I try to buy multipass for 13 people?

Hey there, hi there, ho there Rosalie! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question. It sounds like you’re planning an incredible trip to Walt Disney World Resort how exciting! With so many ways to customize your visit, it’s great that you’re thinking ahead about Lightning Lane options. I’d be happy to help clarify how it all works!

When using Lightning Lane Passes, each guest must purchase them individually through their own My Disney Experience account, so everyone in your group will need to create an account if they haven’t already. Once the accounts are set up, you can easily link together by going to your profile in the app, tapping on Family & Friends, and selecting “Add a Guest.” From there, you can connect by scanning everyones linking code or entering it manually.

The person who manages the plans for each person in your group will need to give you permission to make plans on their behalf. They can do this by going to their Family & Friends list, selecting your name and making sure the option that allows you to make plans together is turned on. Once that’s set, you’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Passes and book experiences for everyone you’re connected to.

By linking through the Friends & Family list, one person can oversee and coordinate reservations for the group. This is especially helpful for families or groups who prefer one person to take the lead in planning. If different members of the group want to experience different attractions, the app allows for flexibility. Each individual can choose and manage their own reservations, and you’ll still see the plans for those who are linked. For high demand attractions, it’s often best for one person to make the reservations for the group to ensure everyone gets the same return time.

Rosalie, I hope you find this information helpful as you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a magical day!
