We are a group of high school friends trying to go to Disneyland the end of February/beginning of March to celebrate our 70th birthdays. We need to start making reservations, but the calendar doesn't go beyond the middle of Feb.

Hello there, MarLeah! Thank you for bringing your fantastic question to planDisney. When I read it, my heart just smiled. I can't think of a better way to celebrate your longstanding friendships and birthdays than with a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

I'm not sure exactly which kind of reservations you're looking for, so I'll share some information for a couple of options that are hopefully helpful to you. Before you and your fabulous party of friends purchase theme park tickets, I recommend checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure the date(s) you plan on visiting are available. Theme park reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance of your visit. Once you've confirmed your desired date(s) are available, you can purchase your theme park tickets. You will also make your park reservations in the ticket purchase process.

If you're interested in making reservations for a celebratory birthday dinner, dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. A wonderful place that I like to celebrate special occasions in Disneyland Park is at the Blue Bayou Restaurant. This restaurant is very popular and reservations fill up very quickly, however you can always check for Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability on the day of your visit in the Disneyland app. I've also ordered a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to make it extra fun and special. These cakes are available at select participating restaurants and can be added when making your reservation.

Finally, I always like to stop by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland or the Chamber of Commerce on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park to pick up a Complimentary Birthday Button. It will be so fun for you and your friends to walk around the parks with these on as other Guests and Cast Members wish you all a Happy Birthday!

MarLeah, I hope I was able to answer your question. If not, please visit us again at planDisney and ask another - even feel free to ask me directly. I just know you and your friends are going to have the best time celebrating! From one person in the Pacific Northwest to another, have a magical time!

    Happy planning,
    Michelle
