A group of friends and I are visiting the US for SWC2027 (it's a long time away I know). Can we book Savi's Workshop as a group or would we need to just try to get the same session when reservations are available?

Galactic greetings, Jade! Welcome to planDisney! I’m delighted to hear that you and your friends are already planning a journey to a galaxy far, far away—well, to the Disneyland Resort! I might be a little late in saying "May the 4th be with you," but the Force is definitely strong with your planning skills!

You've picked such a wonderfully immersive experience with Savi's Workshop. It truly feels like stepping right into the Star Wars saga, building your very own, one-of-a-kind lightsaber for a more civilized age. It’s pure magic! Now, regarding bringing your whole crew of galactic travelers together for this secretive mission: As of the time I’m writing this, reservations for Savi's Workshop can accommodate a maximum party size of seven Guests per booking. So, if your fellowship numbers seven or fewer, you should be able to make one reservation for everyone.

However, if your group is larger than seven, you'll need to make multiple reservations. The strategy here would be to coordinate with your friends and try to book consecutive time slots or the same time slot simultaneously when your booking window opens (typically 60 days in advance, but always check for the latest info). Keep in mind that booking capacities can definitely shift and change between now and 2027, so it's wise to check back on the Savi's Workshop page closer to your travel dates for the most current information.

Of course, building your lightsaber is just one part of your grand adventure on the planet Batuu! While you're exploring the Black Spire Outpost, you and your friends absolutely must experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. It's not just a ride; it's an incredibly immersive journey where you'll find yourselves right in the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order! Another can't-miss is piloting the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Chewie always needs a good flight crew! And if building a lightsaber sparks your creativity, maybe you'll also want to assemble your own loyal astromech sidekick at the Droid Depot. Be sure to keep an eye on the Disneyland mobile app for the latest details as your visit gets closer.

Lastly, Jade, I have an extra tip to share straight from the Galaxy's Edge! I’ll bet you’re already familiar with the Season of the Force event that’s happening right now at Disneyland Park. While plans for 2027 are still light-years away, if this special celebration continues in the future, and if it's held around the same springtime period, chances are good that it could align with the dates of your visit! That means you and your friends might get to take part in some awesome fun, including special Star Wars-themed entertainment and limited-time attractions like Hyperspace Mountain—one of my personal favorites! Experiencing Season of the Force during your trip would definitely make your Star Wars adventure even more epic!

I hope this helps you ignite the spark for your planning, Jade! Wishing you and your friends a stellar time preparing for your adventure. May the Force be with you!
