Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Izzy!
Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, it’s so nice to meet you! You’re all going to have the most magical time at
The Happiest Place on Earth. Disneyland is my childhood, and as an adult, I’ve grown to know and love Walt Disney World just as much!
When it comes to your theme park tickets, it depends on what type of ticket you will be using. If you all are using the
Military Salute offer, then those tickets will need to be activated together at the same time by the eligible service member or their spouse. I experienced something similar last year and the Cast Members told me it would be safest to come all as one to activate them as a whole group. Thankfully, we all coordinated our flights so that our first entrance could be done together using my military ID as the verification. It was worth it because we all got to enjoy the parks a little longer since we moved our flights up a few hours earlier.
Now, if your military member purchased standard theme park tickets from the military base office, military ID verification is not required. That means your original arrival plans will work out perfectly and the service member won’t need to activate your tickets. You can just meet them inside the park and carry on with your day! Might I recommend a ride, or two, on
Indiana Jones? It’s one of my favorites and my daughter was finally tall enough to experience this attraction herself this past October.
Izzy, don’t forget to schedule your
theme park reservations using your existing tickets. After that, it’s just a matter of counting down until you arrive and can experience the magic yourself. Until then, please feel free to ask away, we're always here to help.
Thanks again for stopping by and have a great visit!
