Hi! We have 11 in our group. Is it 3 Fast Passes per person? If 1/2 the group wants to do the coasters while the other 1/2 wants to do other rides, is that possible? Also, is it true that you need a Fast Pass at Animal Kingdom for River of Lights?

    Hello Stacey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You must be excited to plan a visit for your group.

Part of planning means making FastPass+ selections for your favorite attractions! This amazing feature allows Guests to pre-select up to 3 participating attractions at each theme park for each day of their visit. You can start choosing your favorite experiences up to 30 days before you arrive or 60 days in advance when you stay at a Disney Resort hotel.

Each member of your group will be allowed to select their own experiences. I am traveling with my family in July, and my mother has different FastPass+ selections than my husband, daughter and I. After you have used your 3 initial selections, simply use the My Disney Experience mobile app or go to FastPass+ kiosks located at all parks to make a fourth selection. Enjoy your fourth FastPass+ and repeat the process to choose another attraction! Please note that selections are subject to availability.

You can make a FastPass+ selection for Rivers of Light at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it is not mandatory. The location where Guests watch the show from can accommodate so many viewers that I don’t think you will have problems finding a seat. My suggestion is to arrive early for this experience. Pick up a Times Guide upon arriving at the theme park for the updated schedule. You can also do this by checking the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Thanks for stopping by, Stacey! I hope you have an amazing visit to the place where dreams come true!

    Best magical wishes,
