Our group of eight are arriving at the GF on June 14th. We have stayed at OKW and BLT and my twin 11 year olds enjoyed the pool activity and games with the Disney Cast members. Do they have those same activities at the GF? Thanks

Hello Cathie! I think you will be very impressed with Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I was able to stay there last December and I loved it so much that we are staying again this year for the holidays. It is a beautiful Victorian style Resort Hotel with a white sand beach and view of the Magic Kingdom. Every morning I would go out on my balcony and listen to the whistles blow from the Walt Disney World Railroad. If you don't make it in time for rope drop, you can also hear the opening show from your balcony. Absolutely magical.

I am not sure if the pool activities are exactly the same across the resorts, but I do know that there are special activities at the Grand Floridian. When you check in you will receive a welcome packet with some informative papers, one of which is a recreation calendar. The recreation calendar will have the week's plans along with what time they will take place. There are poolside activities like ring toss, bingo, memory, Disney trivia, and hula hoop games a long with many more fun activities. There is also a schedule for Movie Under the Stars that introduces which movie will be shown each night of the week.

I hope your children are able to enjoy themselves by the pool, and if you need anything else please come back and see us. Have a magical stay at Walt Disney World's flagship Resort Hotel.
