Hiya, Charvae!
Welcome to planDisney! I am so delighted that you stopped by with your planning questions. A summertime visit to Walt Disney World Resort sounds wonderful. I am sure the entire crew will have an amazing time. And speaking of the crew, it seems like you will be traveling with a big one! When it comes to group offers there are options for travel parties that are reserving ten or more rooms. If you will be needing accommodations in this amount, I recommend
reaching out to a friendly Cast Member with Group Reservations by phone. There are no group rates offered for ten people, but you can find
some really great deals on the Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts page of the Walt Disney World website. These promotions change throughout the year, so if you do not see an offer for your dates, be sure to keep checking! You can even apply new offers to existing bookings as long as your travel plans meet the eligibility requirements.
Okay, on to wheelchair availability, so you can get back to planning the best trip ever. I am happy to report that
wheelchairs can be rented in each of the four theme parks, at the water parks, and in Disney Springs. Single-day rentals are offered at all locations, and length-of-stay rates are available for the theme parks. It is important to note that the wheelchairs cannot leave their original destination, though you can pick up another one at your next park for no additional charge
when Park Hopping. Just present your receipt at the rental spot at the front of the park. Wheelchairs are available on a first come first served basis, and cannot be reserved in advance. Should you prefer to rent a wheelchair that you can take with you throughout your visit, Walt Disney World Resort has a featured provider.
ScooterBug offers rentals that you can reserve in advance, and they will even drop your wheelchair off with Bell Services before you arrive if you prefer.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
Tammy
