Can you get a group discount for a 1 day base ticket for magic kingdom? If yes, what is the cost?

Welcome to planDisney, Sarah! No matter what size group you're traveling with, magic awaits at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm excited to chat with you about planning for your group's upcoming visit!

At this time, Walt Disney World Resort does not offer group discounts on theme park tickets. I'd encourage you, however, to take a look at the Special Offers page to see if there are any other money-saving offers that might work for your group! You may also want to look into Disney Meetings and Events if you're looking for ways to plan something special for your group during your time together!

Sarah, traveling with a group can be overwhelming at times, so I'd love to share a few tips and tricks I've learned over the years as a teacher who has organized class trips and as a mom who has taken part in cheer and dance event trips!

First, be sure that everyone in your party creates their own My Disney Experience account and that you all link together as Family & Friends to make planning more manageable! This connection will allow you to book Lightning Lanes, make dining reservations, or join a boarding group in a Virtual Queue together! There's nothing quite like experiencing your favorite attractions with a large group!

Another tip is to have one person from your group purchase the Memory Maker so you can all share in the memories captured throughout the parks by the PhotoPass photographers! One Memory Maker purchase can be shared with up to 25 members on your Family & Friends list, so this is a fantastic way to share the cost and the memories!

And perhaps my favorite tip for traveling with a large group - don't be afraid to split up throughout the day, but always plan events that can bring you back together! One of my favorite things to do with a large group is watch the nighttime fireworks after a magical day! Choose a meeting point, grab some evening snacks, and enjoy one another's company as the skies above you fill with one last burst of magic!

Sarah, I hope this is helpful and that you and your group have a wonderful time together! If you think of any other vacation planning questions, planDisney will be ready and waiting to help you out again!

    We're all in this together,
