We are a group of 12 and are desperate to be able to eat together 1/2 times during our stay any advice on how we can make this happen? as no joy today

Hey Howdy Hey Nina and welcome back to planDisney!

I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort with a larger party and our extended family. There is something just so special about being in the Most Magical Place on Earth and sharing this experience with those we love. I would agree with you that it is tough sometimes getting everyone together for mealtimes. Let's go through some options that might help you get a few reservations with everyone together.

The first thing to keep in mind is that restaurant seating capacity and availability can change depending on the time of the day. You might have better luck for everyone sitting together to choose off times for mealtime, such as breakfast at 11:00 a.m. or Dinner at 4:00 p.m. This helps to reduce the demand and gives you a little more availability with your requests. The other thing to help to get everyone together is to consider splitting your party into two separate ones. This gives you more options with the smaller group size and you can always talk to the host or hostess at check-in to see if both parties will be able to sit close together. Cast Members try hard to get these accommodations if they can, so it is worth asking! If you do have some very highly desirable reservations to get, when you are able to make your reservations, try and get them in order of popularity rather than chronologically.

I am sure you probably have a great list put together for your top dining locations to check out. I would recommend trying out either 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort, Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios or Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT. All of these are usually really good about getting reservations for larger parties with the size to accommodate everyone. One final tip that I will give is the option to call Disney and have a Cast Member help you book these hard-to-get reservations. While you can book these dining reservations online through your My Disney Experience account, you can also give them a ring at 0800 16 90 748 and a Cast Member will be happy to help out.

Good luck with the continued planning of your upcoming trip in April. I hope you have a Magical time in the Vacation Kingdom of the World! If you have further questions let us know, we love talking about all things Disney!

    Happy planning,

    Nick
