    group of 9 (4A, 5C)of us coming in july 2013 for orlando for 17 nights! staying offsite in villa. doing things other than disney. is the uk only ultimate 14 days for 7 still good value if we only want say 8 days of disney?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. It sounds like you have quite an exciting trip to the Walt Disney World Resort ahead of you this summer! 

    I checked into the current price of an 8-Day Theme Park Ticket plus the Park Hopper and Water Park Fun & More Options and compared it with the price of the 2013 14-Day Ultimate Ticket offered to Guests from the United Kingdom, and the difference is so marginal (only about £5) that I personally think it would be a better value to go ahead and purchase the 14-Day Ultimate Tickets even if you may only use them for eight days. That way, if you do decide at the last minute to spend an extra day or two at one of the theme parks, you still have the option to do so. Just keep in mind that the tickets are only valid for 14 days from the day of first use, so you won’t be able to use them for the last few days of your visit if they are used on the first day you arrive, even if you visit other destinations in between your days at Walt Disney World.
