We will have a group of around 10 adults. One of the days will be dedicated to a bachelorette party of sorts for 1 of our guests.2 things, how can we book a larger room at coronado springs and can we make a resy for 10 at Cinderellas table?

Hi Mandy, and welcome to planDisney. Thanks for the question. Planning a Walt Disney World getaway with a big group of friends sounds like a blast, and building in a bachelorette celebration on top of that is only going to make the trip even more memorable. I’d be happy to help you sort through your options so you can lock in the plans that work best for everyone.

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is a great choice, especially with its dining variety and its easy access to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The only challenge is room size. The largest room category at this resort, the Village Executive Suite, tops out at eight adults, so you will not be able to fit all ten guests in a single accommodation. Your best move will be to book two or three rooms and then have them linked.

Once you have those rooms booked, call the number for Tickets and Hotel Reservations found on the Help Center page and ask to connect the reservations with a request to be located near each other. When you arrive, skip Direct-to-Room Service and check in with a Cast Member at the front desk to restate your request. From my experience, arriving earlier in the day and staying flexible about when you are willing to accept your room can help improve your chances. For room setups, I’d look at either booking multiple Gran Destino Tower rooms or pairing a Village one-bedroom suite that sleeps six adults with a Village standard or preferred room that sleeps four. That is usually the closest you can get the entire group.

Now for Cinderella’s Royal Table. They can seat a group of ten, but this is one of the toughest reservations to secure because of its popularity. To give yourself the best chance, sign in to your Disney account about five to ten minutes before 6 in the morning Eastern time on the day your dining window opens, which is sixty days before your arrival date. Have another member of your group try at the same time, and consider splitting into two reservations, such as six and four or five and five. If you manage to snag two separate reservations, arrive early and ask the Cast Members if they can seat you together or next to each other. Nothing is guaranteed, but they will always do what they can if the setup allows for it.

If you want a few ideas to round out your bachelorette day, I’ve got plenty. Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian is a classy spot for a small group to enjoy cocktails and share bites in a great atmosphere. Crew’s Cup Lounge at Disney’s Yacht Club is another laid-back favorite of mine. The bonus there is that you’re steps away from all of the BoardWalk area restaurants and lounges, giving you an easy way to turn one stop into a full evening.

And of course, you cannot go wrong with a stroll through EPCOT’s World Showcase. Whether it is champagne in France, margaritas in Mexico, Viking Coffee in Norway, or a pint in the UK, it is tough to beat spending an afternoon or evening taking in the ambiance with your closest friends.

I hope this helps you sort through your plans, Mandy. If you need help narrowing anything down or want more recommendations, come back and see us at planDisney anytime.

    Cheers,
    Brent
