We are a group of 10, ages ranging from 1yr to 40 yrs, staying at Kidani Village in Sept. 2011. We would like to be close to the pool at Kidani and the food court at Jambo house. Can you suggest a good room section to request? Thanks for your help:)

    Hi Kristin,

Because Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge (including Jambo House and Kidani Village) is such an expansive resort, there are no guest rooms that are close to both Samawati Spring Pool (at Kidani Village) and The Mara (the quick service dining area at Jambo House).  The good news is that complimentary Disney buses are constantly running between these two sections of the resort.

If you want a room near Samawati Springs, simply request a room on the left side of Kidani Village, but in the first four sections from the lobby.  These rooms will have numbers that end in 01-41.  It would probably just be easiest to note on your reservation that you wish to be near Samawati Spring Pool.

Since you will be staying at Kidani Village, the fastest way to get to The Mara in Jambo House is to do the five-minute walk between buildings.  The other option, of course, is to grab one of the complimentary Disney buses I mentioned earlier in this response.  Just be sure to confirm with the bus driver that he is headed to Jambo House and not one of the theme parks.

Enjoy watching the amazing animals on the savanna at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge!
