Welcome to planDisney, Michael!
As much as I love sailing with my family, there’s something to be said for cruising with other couples or best friends. Let me tell you, Disney Cruise Line knows how to
entertain adults. What a fun voyage it will be with a large group of friends onboard!
So while I don’t actually make the bookings for Disney cruises, I can definitely walk you through the steps. You can make reservations online or
call a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist. On the Disney Cruise Line website, there’s a long rectangular box at the top. You can choose February 2022 under the date. Use the “More Filters” tab which will let you limit the search to 5-6 nights and 7-night cruises. If you want to sail from a specific port or to a particular destination, you can choose those as well.
It might be easier if everyone in your party makes a reservation for their own stateroom. You could book up to 4 staterooms online, but above that, you would have to call Disney Cruise Line. I would at least do the initial research online to see what cruises sound the best for your group. The main thing you want to ensure is that all the reservations once made are
linked together. This is important so that you can all be seated together in the
rotational dining rooms.
Since you are traveling with other adult couples, I thought I might mention some of the spaces you have to look forward to. There are plenty of
adult-exclusive areas on each ship that are essentially playgrounds for grown-ups! From
Quiet Cove Pool on all four ships to Satellite Falls on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, these sundecks are THE places for adults to have their quality time.
Cove Café is the perfect spot for coffee talk to start the day off with a caffeine boost. And the l
ounges and nightclubs host dancing, comedy acts, and fun competitions into the wee hours. If you like pampering, then book a spa treatment at
Senses Spa and Salon. Finally, my number one tip for couples on a Disney cruise: dine at
Palo for the ultimate VIP dining experience.
Good luck with honing your search and choosing the best itinerary for your group. WISHing you a WONDERful time!
Happy Sailing!
