Ahoy, Sherri!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I completely understand wanting to keep an eye on the ground transfers for your 2027 sailing. There’s something wonderfully relaxing about letting Disney handle the journey from resort to port so your vacation can feel officially underway before you even step aboard the ship.
Right now,
ground transportation for 2027 sailings has not been released yet, and unfortunately Disney has not announced a specific date for when those bookings will open. The rollout timing can vary depending on the sailing region and departure port, so some itineraries may see transfers become available earlier than others. Sailings from Florida ports like Port Canaveral and
Port Everglades often tend to open before some international itineraries.
Based on previous years, if your sailing departs from one of the Florida ports, my best estimate would be sometime around late summer into early fall of 2026, likely in the August to September timeframe. Of course, that’s not an official Disney date, just a little detective work from watching how these releases have happened in the past. I always feel a little like Basil of Baker Street trying to solve the Disney mystery for when these booking windows will start appearing.
The good news is once transfers do become available, they are usually very easy to add directly to your reservation online or by
calling Disney Cruise Line (or your travel agent). Until then, your reservation is still happily floating along toward embarkation day like Captain Mickey charting a course toward adventure.
I hope this helps as you continue planning your 2027 sailing! Half the fun of a Disney cruise is watching all the puzzle pieces slowly come together while the countdown gets shorter and shorter. Before long, you’ll be trading planning spreadsheets for sail away snacks and ocean views.
Sea ya real soon with warm air, calm seas, and a ship that always feels like home,
Dustin
