Is there ground transport to and from MCO and Port Canaveral

Ahoy, Katherine! Welcome to planDisney! It won't be long before Captains Mickey and Minnie welcome you aboard your Disney Cruise Line vacation. Hot dog!

With the holidays quickly approaching, your cruise will be here in no time at all. I'm glad you stopped by so you can put the finishing touches on your vacation planning.

Disney Cruise Line offers ground transportation between Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral. I have hopped aboard this magic carpet from a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, but not straight from the airport. Our friends who cruised with us this past summer did and absolutely loved it!

They were also coming from California. They made arrangements through Disney for a pre-cruise hotel stay at the Hyatt inside the airport. When they arrived, their hotel was an escalator ride away. And in the morning, they put their Disney Cruise luggage tags on their suitcases, grabbed their carry-on bags and set off for adventure in the great, wide somewhere.

You can call to add cruise transfers to your reservation or make arrangements on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for a small per-person fee. They are subject to availability, so I recommend doing this as soon as possible.

When you complete the online check-in about a month before your cruise to upload all of your travel documents, you will not need to select a Port Arrival Time. Your time will be when your bus arrives, which can mean you will be among the first cruisers to hear that magical "Welcome Aboard!"

Please be sure to look over the documents you will need to have with you when you arrive at Port Canaveral to make sure they are in your carry-on bags.

And be sure to come back to planDisney if you have any questions as you begin planning Port Adventures and onboard fun! Your window to reserve activities like spa services, specialty dining, Port Adventures and beverage tastings opens 135 to 75 days before your cruise, depending on your Castaway Club level.

I am thrilled for your cruise and all the adventures ahead of you!

    SEA 'Ya Real Soon!
