Hello Elisha M and welcome to the planDisney panel! It's wonderful to have you here with us.
It sounds like you are planning for some great fun ahead in the coming months, and I'd be happy to help. I'm a big fan of booking ground transfers with the Disney Cruise Line. It's quite relaxing to leave the driving to Disney. You can simply enjoy the ride in a comfortable seat in an air-conditioned bus and arrive at the port ready for an adventure at sea.
Ground transportation is offered from the Orlando International Airport (MCO) to Port Canaveral. The current pricing is available to view
at this link. Transfers to and from the airport are available only on embarkation and debarkation days, so please plan accordingly. The Disney Cruise Line recommends that your flight arrives no later than 1:45 p.m. on embarkation day and departs no earlier than 11:25 a.m. on debarkation day when traveling from Orlando International Airport for your cruise vacation. In order to arrange for these services, you must
call to book.
Once you've arrived to the port, it looks like you are scheduled for a Halloween on the High Seas voyage. My favorite time to set sail is in the fall just so I can celebrate Halloween with the Disney Cruise Line. From the not-so-spooky decor, the themed activities, and the Disney Characters in their Halloween finery, these sailings are a frightfully fun time. I recently had the chance to talk all about these voyages on the most recent episode of the
planDisney podcast. Be sure to give it a listen, or a watch (we filmed it INSIDE the ballroom of the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland!) if you'd like to hear more about what's in store for your sailing.
Have a spooktacular sailing and please cruise our way again if you have any further questions. We promise to give our best tips, treats, and no tricks.
