Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for visiting planDisney! We appreciate you trusting us with your planning questions.
It’s always great to have a bit of extra savings when visiting The Happiest Place on Earth. You can keep an eye out for discounted
Disney Gift Cards from a third-party retailer and then using them to buy your one day park ticket. Organizations like AAA and AARP have been known to offer discounted one-day park tickets. Since they are third-party vendors, you would need to check their sites for any current promotions. Check for future deals on the
special offers and discounts page on the Disneyland website.
I know you mentioned that you are looking for one-day tickets, but Disneyland Resort is currently offering special
tickets for the 70th Anniversary. These are 3-day or 4-day tickets that allow you to visit from May 16 through August 14, 2025 (subject to park reservation availability). You can also upgrade these tickets to include a Park Hopper, so you can move between both parks (starting at 11 a.m.). With so much new and returning entertainment coming to the parks, it may be worth it to dive into the Disneyland magic all summer long. Check out the Disney Parks Blog for the
70th Anniversary Guide and the
2025 Event Calendar. You may find that one day is just not enough time to enjoy all the magic!
I hope this information is helpful, Elizabeth. I’ll be wishing on a star that you can join us in the parks real soon. If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.
Happy planning!
