Welcome back to planDisney, Penny!
It might seem far away, but the wait is
almost over –– you'll be arriving at
Walt Disney World Resort before you know it! These last few weeks before check-in are the perfect time to finalize all those last-minute planning details. If you haven't already done so, you'll want to make theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system for the first park you plan to visit each day (if you're using the Park Hopper option, you won't need a reservation for next park). I also suggest making a few
advance dining reservations, especially if you're hoping to grab a table at an exciting new spot like
Space 220 Restaurant. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance, so you're all set to begin booking them now.
While eating in Walt Disney World theme parks is awesome, my family also enjoys having our room stocked with groceries during our visits, especially breakfast foods that we can grab on our way out the door each morning. And since we don't want to waste any of our precious vacation minutes grocery shopping, we love the convenience of having groceries delivered directly to our
Disney Resorts Collection hotel on the day of our arrival. It's easy and stress-free –– just the way vacation should be!
Groceries can be ordered to your Resort using any grocery delivery service (I typically use Amazon or Instacart), just be sure to double-check that you're using the Resort's main entrance as the delivery address and your order is addressed to "Guest (name on the reservation)" to avoid any confusion. While you can meet the delivery driver yourself once your order arrives, Bell Services is also happy to accept grocery orders for you (including refrigerated items) and store your items until you're ready for pick-up. Once you're ready to collect your order, you can simply drop by the Bell Services desk to grab it or have it delivered directly to your room for a small fee. Just note that Bell Services can't accept age-restricted items, like alcohol. If you'll be including these in your order, you'll need to meet the delivery driver to show your photo ID.
I'm so glad you came back to planDisney with another question, Penny. If
I can help answer any more planning questions before you arrive, I hope you'll stop by again!
Wishing You a Magical Day,
Amy
