Hiya Donna,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney again. I love that you are thinking ahead about grocery delivery for your stay at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. My family and I do the same thing, and it really helps keep things running smoothly, especially after a long park day or an early morning start.
Let’s jump right into your question. I recommend using the
grocery delivery service you are most comfortable with. My family typically uses Walmart Delivery or Instacart when we stay at Disney resorts, and both have worked great for us. In true Disney fashion, we once realized during a
runDisney weekend that we forgot bottled water, and a quick delivery saved the day.
There are a couple of helpful tips to keep in mind when placing your order. Be sure to list the guest's name exactly as it appears on your resort reservation, so everything lines up practically perfect in every way. You will also want to use the resort address: 1251 Riverside Drive, Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830. If you would like your groceries delivered,
Bell Services can bring them directly to your room. This is available for a flat fee of $6, though that fee is subject to change.
One important thing to note is that if your delivery includes items that require age or ID verification, you will need to meet the delivery driver in person.
Disney Resort hotels are not able to accept those types of deliveries on your behalf, so think of it like a character meet and greet, where you need to be there for the magic to happen.
Donna, I hope this helps answer your questions and makes your upcoming stay even more magical. If anything else comes up while you are planning, please feel free to visit us again.
See you real soon,
Christina
