How can I have groceries delivered to my villa?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Bonnie!

Welcome home and welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Bonnie, don't you just love how the Disney Vacation Club Villas offer you a bit of home sweet home? The full-size kitchens full of gadgets and gizmos aplenty sure make it nice to have home-style meals, right in your home away from home with Disney magic sprinkled in.  Our family loves to relax and pull up a chair, as our Villa dining table proudly presents our dinner after a fun Disney day.

Bonnie, if you would like bare necessities like groceries delivered to your Villa, you can certainly do that.  By using the grocery delivery service of your choice, such as Whole Foods, Instacart, or Garden Grocer, you can put in the address of the Resort where you are staying, room number if you have it, and of course be sure your name is on the order.  Now, if you want Bell Services to hold and bring up your groceries, there is a $6 service charge (price subject to change) for them to do this. Alternatively, you can meet the delivery person in the lobby and use a Bell Cart to bring the groceries to your Villa, thereby avoiding this service fee.

One thing to note though Bonnie, is if you order your groceries BEFORE you arrive, some of the Resorts can't hold refrigerated items for too long due to space limitations. Many of them do, but the policies can change per Resort. Also, if you order anything that requires an ID, you will need to be present to accept the order as the Resort can't do that on behalf of the Guest.

If you write back with which Resort you are staying, I am happy to check on this for you.  We usually try to time it for after we know we will be in our Villa and put them away right away. If you will be in your Villa when the groceries arrive, then the above information applies.

I hope this helps you, Bonnie. If you have any further questions about Disney Vacation Club, stop back and see me because you've got a friend in me.

    See ya real soon,
    Keri
